Job summary

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a Public Affairs Specialist to support the C3BM division at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. The role encompasses strategic communications, public affairs outreach, and event planning to engage government, industry, academia, and international partners.

The specialist will manage communications content, coordinate high-visibility events, and contribute to division initiatives including press releases and articles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DoD public affairs and event management.
• Excellent writing and communication skills across media.
• Knowledge of agency program planning, funding, and management information systems.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage events, outreach programs, campaigns, ceremonies, and assignments.
• Manage message content to ensure consistency across the division.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute special events with government leaders and stakeholders.
• Support division conference exhibit activities.
• Draft press releases and articles, and lead communications design for major events.
• Coordinate community and stakeholder relations and lead the division's outreach plan.
