Job summary

You will develop messaging, coordinate media outreach, monitor policy developments, and support advocacy campaigns while liaising with clients and internal teams to advance strategic public affairs programs. Your work will include briefing materials, reporting, event support, and coalition-building, requiring strong writing, research, and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Strong public affairs and strategic communications skills.
• Experience with advocacy campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and message development.
• Proficiency in media relations, press releases, pitching stories, and interview prep.
• Ability to conduct policy research and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Solid writing and editing for talking points, op-eds, briefing materials, social content, and client reports.
• Experience with project and account management, timelines, and documentation.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build client relationships.
• Familiarity with nonprofit, corporate, and/or political environments; agency/campaign background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop messaging and draft press materials for clients.
• Coordinate and manage media outreach and interview preparation.
• Monitor policy and legislative developments and prepare briefing documents.
• Support advocacy campaigns and coalition-building efforts.
• Maintain client communication and project reporting across engagements.
• Advance integrated public relations and public affairs strategies with the team.
• Support events, meetings, and ensure timely delivery of client goals.
• Collaborate across teams to identify opportunities and propose solutions.
