Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience leading negotiations or business development.
• Experience working with public policy teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience with technical infrastructure developments.
• Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain critical relationships with government officials, community leaders, and key opinion formers to secure a positive operating environment for Google facilities.
• Develop, lead, and execute complex, multi-state public affairs strategies and campaigns that safeguard the data center lifecycle across existing and future markets.
• Serve as a key ambassador and advocate for Google’s priorities, amplifying economic, energy, sustainability, and social contributions to position Google’s local team for growth.
• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive data center market development projects from concept to completion.
• Translate corporate and technical initiatives into tangible local benefits aligned with community priorities.
