Job summary

SKDK is hiring interns for fall 2026 and spring 2027. The Public Affairs team offers exposure to crisis management, media outreach, and narrative shaping across multiple client teams. Interns will contribute to research, monitoring, and drafting materials in a dynamic political communications environment.

Based in New York with opportunities to engage across offices, the program emphasizes paid work and professional development in strategic communications and public affairs.

Responsibilities

• Developing and sharing daily press clips.
• Creating press lists of reporters, editors, producers and/or bookers.
• Conducting research on a diverse set of policy issues.
• Notetaking during internal and client facing meetings.
• General media monitoring and crisis response support.
• Occasional writing opportunities such as drafting press releases, social media and pitches.
• Special projects.
