Job summary

SKDK is hiring interns for both fall 2026 and spring 2027, based in New York. You will support 5-6 client teams with a variety of tasks and gain exposure to press, policy, and communications strategies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include drafting press materials, researching policy issues, compiling press clips, and assisting with crisis monitoring. This role offers entry-level experience in a prominent public affairs agency.

Responsibilities

• Developing and sharing daily press clips.
• Creating press lists of reporters, editors, producers and/or bookers.
• Conducting research on a diverse set of policy issues.
• Notetaking during internal and client facing meetings.
• General media monitoring and crisis response support.
• Occasional writing opportunities such as drafting press releases, social media and pitches.
• Special projects.
