Job summary

Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts invites a Public Affairs Spring Intern to support governmental affairs, legislative engagement, research, and community outreach. You will assist with research, tracking legislative activities, event coordination, and administrative tasks under the Director of Governmental Affairs.

Ideal candidates are college students in Political Science, Pre-Law, or Public Policy programs, seeking practical exposure to Georgia’s legislative process and

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen (18) years old and enrolled in a degree program related to Political Science, Pre-Law, Public Policy, or a related field.
Must be able to commit to 20–30 hours of in-person work per week for the internship duration.
Must be able to register as a lobbyist within the first week of employment.

Responsibilities

Assist with monitoring and tracking legislative activities, committee hearings, and sessions.
Attend or provide coverage for public affairs activities and events.
Conduct research and gather information related to legislation and government operations.
Maintain legislative tracking documents, databases, and related records.
