Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform partner-level compliance reviews and tax return signoffs for HNW clients.
  • Provide strategic consultations on tax planning opportunities and law changes.
  • Develop new business through proposals and relationship-building activities.
  • Expand services to existing clients and oversee client engagements.
  • Supervise and evaluate advanced-level staff, fostering their professional growth.
  • Coach and mentor team members to strengthen the tax function.
  • Maintain exceptional technical knowledge of tax issues and business trends.
  • Collaborate across specialties to deliver innovative tax solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, or equivalent field required.
  • CPA certification mandatory; JD or EA considered with exceptional experience.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive tax experience, preferably in PCS tax.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in mentoring and counseling associates.
  • Proven ability to acquire new clients and grow a book of business.
  • Experience with HNW, estate, and trust tax from midsize CPA firms preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and develop a high-performing team.
  • Remote work capability with occasional travel to NYC or NJ.
