Job summary

Blue & Co., LLC is seeking an Intern to join our Tax, Audit, or Healthcare Reimbursement teams across multiple locations in the US, including Louisville, KY, and surrounding areas. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting client service teams and working under mentor guidance.

As an intern, you may assist with audits and tax preparation, learn how financial statements are prepared, and develop a professional network across the firm while building foundational public accounting skills.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.2 or higher.
• Accounting/Finance major on track for CPA.
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to lead and solve problems, work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel as necessary and work overtime if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audits and reviews.
• Understand how business transactions affect financial statements.
• Prepare basic financial statements and schedules for clients.
• Assist with tax return preparation (1040, S-Corp, C-Corp, Partnerships, 941, 1099).
• Support tax research projects.
• Assist Medicaid/Medicare cost reports analysis for health care facilities.
• Contribute to analyses on mergers, acquisitions, litigation, ESOPs, and estate planning.
