About the Opportunity:

• Job Title: Machine Operator
• Pay Rate Range: $19.75/Hour
• Location: Forest Lake, MN
• Schedule: 2nd Shift, M-F, 3:30pm - 11:30pm
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Machine Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

1. High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
2. Previous production experience required
3. Ability to operate manual and automatic work centers, maintain cycle, count and report production and scrap
4. Basic understanding of scales, measuring equipment, injection molding presses, reading prints; completion of Paulson Molding Fundamentals 1 & 2
5. Ability to perform tasks safely, work independently, and react to product quality changes
6. Walking, standing, turning, reaching, grasping, bending, and physical fitness are required
7. Correctable eyesight and good depth perception
8. Ability to stand long periods, walk, sit, climb, and lift up to 40 pounds safely
9. Dexterity with hands, multitasking, and decision-making skills

Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with team to produce quality products on time
2. Follow documented processes and instructions
3. Make decisions on part acceptance and operate work centers
4. Count, label, and document products accurately
5. Inspect parts and document findings
6. Provide input for process improvements
7. React to quality and equipment issues, communicate effectively during shift handoffs
8. Follow safety and cleanliness protocols, including in controlled environments
9. Operate machines for medical device components, handle components, check for defects, and assemble products
10. Perform repetitive tasks, and other duties as assigned
