Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on an as needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of CBIT
• Teaches professional development, computer, safety or technical classes (based on expertise) using adult learning theory and alternative delivery methods

Physical Demands

Able to traverse campus, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, handling, fine dexterity, bending, vision, hearing, and talking.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in the teaching subject area from a regionally accredited college or university or a minimum of 10 years of industrial experience in the subject area
• Interest in alternative instructional delivery methods
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institution
