Job summary

Elmer Candy Corporation seeks reliable team members for 12-hour shifts from 3pm to 3am, Monday through Thursday with Fridays on call. Pay is DOE, $18–$25 hourly, with weekly pay and overtime likely. Medical, dental and vision plans are offered along with paid vacation, 401k and free chocolate.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and pass a drug screen.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Dependable attendance.
• Ability to follow and read instructions.
• Overtime and weekend availability.
• PTEC associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust automated processes during the candy making procedure.
• Operate and adjust parameters on HMI (Human Machine Interface).
• Troubleshoot and correct minor malfunctions.
• Load and unload candy trays and counter molds.
• Operate CIP equipment.

BASIC JOB TASKS (EXPERIENCE PREFERRED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand & walk for long periods of time
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, use force, carry, push/pull, and lift <50 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to apply manual dexterity and specified visual acuity
• Some areas require PPE & may cause occasional exposure to higher temperatures
