Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision and support daily pharmacy operations in the store. You will use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions, help customers, and support inventory and cash handling.

The role requires English fluency and willingness to work evenings and weekends; PTCB certification is preferred and experience in retail is a plus. Salary is paid hourly as part of the Walgreens team.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Candidates should be willing to work flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred, with Walgreens experience a plus.
• PTCB certification is preferred; otherwise certification needed for promotion.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision with pharmacy duties and policies.
• Operate pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide customer service and help customers find products and resolve issues.
• Support inventory management, cash handling, and checkout procedures.
• Help schedule workflow and assist with clerical tasks as assigned by management.
• Adhere to Good Faith Dispensing and Pharmacy Code of Conduct policies.
