Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician role where you will assist the pharmacist under direct supervision and use pharmacy systems to handle patient and drug information and prescriptions. You will also engage customers, support cashiers, and help maintain accurate inventory and workflow in a fast-paced environment.

We value English fluency, a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends, and familiarity with retail or Walgreens experience.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Support cashiers and store staff in daily operations and customer service.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with patients.
• Assist with inventory management and pharmacy clerical duties as assigned.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including quality and safety requirements.
