Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists under supervision in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment. You will process prescriptions, manage patient data in our pharmacy systems, and support inventory and cash handling while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate counting and measuring medications, and maintaining compliance with pharmacy policies. Evening and weekend availability is preferred to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prior six months of retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy tasks.
• Process prescriptions and enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Enter and verify information, retrieve, count and pour medications, and check for interactions.
• Support inventory management and store operations including cash handling and customer assistance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with customers.
