Job summary

Walgreens in Gretna, NE is seeking a Pharmacy Technician under direct supervision to assist the pharmacist and support the Pharmacy Department. You will use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions, enter patient data, and help with inventory and cash register duties while delivering a friendly, efficient customer experience.

Qualified candidates will have English fluency, a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends, and PTCB certification preferred; retail pharmacy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer PTCB certification.
• Prefer good math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and in pharmacy department duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist with cash registers as needed.
• Engage customers to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Enter patient and drug information, check for interactions, and support inventory management.
• Support pharmacy staff and external providers as required.
