Walgreens in Fredericksburg, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Technician who assists the pharmacist under supervision, processes prescriptions, and uses pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information. You will help deliver a distinctive customer experience by greeting customers, answering questions, and supporting pharmacy operations including cash handling and inventory.

PTCB certification or eligibility is preferred, with six months of retail experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision and process prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and support cashiers.
• Maintain accurate medication dispensing and check for potential interactions.
• Support inventory management, ordering and receiving shipments.
• Deliver excellent customer experience and handle routine pharmacy tasks.
