Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. You will process prescriptions, enter patient data, manage inventory, handle cash at the register, and help deliver a positive customer experience. Flexibility for evenings/weekends and strong math and computer skills are beneficial.

Prior Walgreens experience is a plus. PTCB certification is preferred and may be required for promotion.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
Strong math skills for counting and measuring medications.
Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy duties.
Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
Support inventory management: order, unpack, store, and track pharmaceuticals.
Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
Handle cash transactions and assist with front-end tasks as required.
Coordinate with pharmacy team and healthcare providers to support patient care.
