Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an individual to assist the pharmacist under direct supervision, handling prescription processing and patient information with precision. You will help coach staff and cashiers when PTCB certified, and contribute to a welcoming, service-oriented shopping experience.

You will engage customers, answer questions, and support pharmacy and store operations, including inventory and clerical duties, to maintain high standards of care and service.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers, resolve issues, and support service excellence.
• Support inventory management and clerical tasks as assigned.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance of the Pharmacy Department.
