Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision, handling prescription processing, customer service and daily pharmacy operations. You will work with pharmacy systems, enter patient data, verify medications and support inventory and cash handling in a fast-paced store environment.

Preferred candidates have six months of retail experience, familiarity with Walgreens procedures, strong math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.

• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under pharmacist supervision, following policy and procedures.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist with cash register operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Enter patient and drug information and ensure accuracy; support inventory management and clerical duties.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized Pharmacy Department and professional relationships with medical staff.
