Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist in daily duties under direct supervision in Burnsville, MN. You will handle prescription processing, patient information entry, and customer service while adhering to Walgreens policies and quality standards.

The role requires English fluency, a willingness to work evenings/weekends, and PTCB certification (or plan to obtain). Prior retail pharmacy experience is a plus and there are opportunities to grow within the Pharmacy

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Retail experience is a plus.
• Ability to assist pharmacist under supervision and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in practice of pharmacy under supervision.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and cashier operations.
• Provide excellent customer experience and assist customers with products and services.
• Enter patient and drug information accurately and check for drug interactions.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with ordering and receiving shipments.
• Support clinical services coordination and healthcare provider outreach.
