Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Under pharmacist supervision, assist in pharmacy practice per policy.
• Review and comply with Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
• Assist Pharmacist/Store Manager using pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information; help fill prescriptions and verify accuracy.
• Report prescription errors to pharmacist on duty.
• Register sales at cash register and assist customers to locate products.
• Handle non-urgent calls and pharmacy-related communications.
• Assist with third-party claims processing and clerical duties.
• Support inventory management and maintain pharmacy supplies.
• Assist in clinical services and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Develop relationships with local medical community and doctors.
• Maintain clean and orderly Pharmacy Department and comply with policies.
• Complete special assignments as needed.
