Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience is preferred.
• Good math skills, good computer skills, and knowledge of store inventory control are preferred.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and perform other Pharmacy Department duties in accordance with Company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions; coach technicians on systems and cashiers on the cash registers (if PTCB certified).
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist with inventory management, processing prescriptions, entering patient and drug information, and supporting workflows under supervision.
• Register related sales on the cash register and handle cash as required, and help guide customers to OTC products.
