Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support the pharmacist under direct supervision in the Walgreens pharmacy. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with inventory and clerical duties.

The role emphasizes delivering a distinctive customer experience, handling cash, and coordinating with health care providers. Fluency in English and flexibility for evenings/weekends are required; PTCB certification is preferred.

Formación

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Good math and computer skills preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist pharmacist under supervision and enter patient and drug information.
• Fill prescriptions by counting and pouring medications.
• Verify medicines and check for possible interactions.
• Assist with inventory management and store workflow.
• Process third party claims and perform clerical duties.
