Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred; prior Walgreens experience is a plus.
• Good math, computer and inventory control skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and handle cash registers.
• Engage customers to provide a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Support inventory management and coordinate with pharmacy staff.
• Enter patient and drug information accurately and review for interactions.
• Adhere to welfare and safety policies and Good Faith Dispensing guidelines.
