Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists under direct supervision and to assist with prescription processing and customer service. The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to policy, and a strong customer focus in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities include using pharmacy systems, assisting with inventory, and ensuring compliant, high-quality service. Prior Walgreens exposure and PTCB certification are preferred; bilingual or additional languages

Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
Six months of retail experience preferred.
Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
Good math skills for counting, measuring, weighing medications.
Good computer skills.
Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties per policy.
Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist with cashiering.
Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Assist with inventory management and clinical services as needed.
Support pharmacy team with documentation, accuracy checks, and policy adherence.
