PTC TCI - Transportation Construction Inspector

Position Overview

PRIME AE Group, Inc., a top 500 ENR-ranked multi-disciplined architectural and engineering firm, is seeking Transportation Construction Inspectors for highway/structure projects for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, from MP 200 to the Delaware River Bridge and MP A20 to A131.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect highway/structure construction projects, including concrete or asphalt roadways, structures, drainage systems, guide rails, MPT, and E&S components.
• Follow standards such as Specification 408, RC, BC, TC.
• Review project plans and contract schedules.
• Complete Daily Reports (IDRs) and other documentation using an iPad.
• Prepare work orders and estimates according to the Operations Manual.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience with highway/structure construction inspection and relevant certifications (NICET, ACI, NECEPT Concrete, NECEPT Asphalt, Nuclear Gauge Certification, IPAD/Kahua).
• Civil Engineering Degree can substitute for experience and certifications.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
