Base pay range

$20.76/hr - $31.67/hr

Position Overview: The primary role will be to monitor and inspect highway and structure construction projects for the PTC, including inspection of concrete or asphalt roadways, structures, drainage systems, guide rails, MPT, and E&S components.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Follow Specification 408, RC, BC, TC, and other standards.
• Review project plans and contract schedules.
• Complete daily reports and project documentation using an iPad.
• Prepare work orders and estimates according to the Operations Manual.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with highway/structure construction inspection experience and certifications such as NICET, ACI, NECEPT Concrete, NECEPT Asphalt, Nuclear Gauge Certification. Civil Engineering Degree can substitute for experience and certifications.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
