PTC TCI - Transportation Construction Inspector

This role is based in Lancaster, PA, with a pay range of $20.76/hr - $31.67/hr, depending on skills and experience. PRIME AE Group, Inc., a top 500 ENR-ranked multi-disciplinary firm, is seeking Transportation Construction Inspectors for highway/structure projects from MP 200 to the Delaware River Bridge and MP A20 to A131 for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.

Position Overview

The primary function of this role will be to assist in monitoring and inspecting highway/structure construction projects, including concrete or asphalt roadways, structures, drainage systems, guide rails, MPT, and E&S components.

Primary Responsibilities

• Follow Specification 408, RC, BC, TC, and other standards.
• Review project plans and contract schedules.
• Complete Daily Reports (IDRs) and other documentation using an iPad.
• Prepare work orders and estimates per the Commission Operations Manual (COM).

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in highway/structure construction inspection and relevant certifications (NICET, ACI, NECEPT Concrete, NECEPT Asphalt, Nuclear Gauge Certification).
• Civil Engineering Degree can substitute for experience and certifications.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
