Rate: $80/hr
Candidate may be required to travel to the commission’s headquarters on an as-needed basis mainly for critical project phases such as requirements gathering, solution confirmation, System Integration Testing, UAT, Go-live, and hyper care. No additional travel expenses will be provided.
Justification: PTC is engaging in an exciting and innovative technology solution called the Unified Back Office Solution (UBOS). UBOS is an advanced back-office system that will enable customers to engage with PTC across multiple channels (web, mobile app, chatbot, chat, IVR, phone, social media, etc.) to address their business needs. Our team is passionate, committed to excellence, and growing.
The PTC needs an SAP S/4HANA Analyst to support the UBOS implementation and support phases, from design to deployment and post-deployment, including ongoing enhancements. The overall engagement is expected to last approximately 30 months.
Description of Duties
- Lead workshops to gather and document requirements for a new billing and revenue system, developing an Agile Product Backlog including Service Blueprints, end-to-end flow, features, User Stories, Development Tasks, Test Scenarios & Scripts, and RICEFs.
- Lead workshops to introduce new end-to-end business processes for Order to Cash with the new system.
- Act as client liaison for all development and testing of billing user stories through development, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Hypercare.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for all implementation-specific processes and procedures.
- Lead testing of assigned functional systems and perform System Integration Testing.
- Support User Acceptance Testing and create user readiness documentation.
- Lead workshops for user training as needed.
- Design and perform integration testing to support business process transformation from legacy systems.
- Create business process documentation as required.
- Provide SAP-BRIM functional support during hypercare phases post go-live.
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve defects related to system and data issues.
- Support billing validation analysis to ensure accurate data migration/conversions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and clients.
- Participate in project team activities related to enterprise systems.
- Work independently to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Follow all PTC standards, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize various software and technology tools to perform duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Skillset & Experience
- Expertise in SAP-BRIM systems, especially in high-volume, consumption-based billing, with experience in end-to-end implementations.
- Experience with end-to-end Order-to-Cash business process design and improvements.
- Leading workshops to document requirements and write functional specifications on SAP-BRIM / FICA projects.
- Managing Order-to-Cash workstreams, keeping teams on track and within budget.
- Hands-on configuration experience in pricing, rating, billing, and invoicing functions of SAP-BRIM CC, CM, CI.
- Experience configuring dunning and collection methodologies in SAP-FICA.
- Designing automation test processes for SAP-BRIM implementation.
- Understanding complex B2B contracts and their representation in billing/financial systems.
- Experience with Agile and traditional waterfall project methodologies.
- Managing global billing operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft ADO Testing Module.
- 15+ years of experience in Billing and SAP BRIM implementations.
- Beneficial skills include SAP enterprise solutions and ITIL/ITSM practices.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business management or information systems, or equivalent experience and education.
