Job summary

Athletico is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to provide safe, effective therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. You will progress patient plans of care, document outcomes, and communicate with the supervising PT and physicians.

The role requires current PTA licensure, an accredited PTA program degree, CPR/AED certification, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Community involvement and on-site collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Minimum of 2 years outpatient experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Progress patient plans of care and document plans and outcomes.
• Communicate with supervising PT and physicians regarding care.
• Supervise rehabilitation aides and support staff as needed.
• Support community outreach and events as needed.
• Complete daily documentation and SOAP notes.
