Job summary

Southhills is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the Staff Physical Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care. You will work under the guidance of a PT, ensuring timely updates to physicians and the team, and participate in rehab program development.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree in PTA and state PTA licensure. Proficiency with Net Health and PointClickCare is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in computer skills such as Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical procedures and manuals.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control and equipment maintenance protocols.
• Coordinate with nursing and rehab teams and provide progress updates and discharge planning.
