HealthQuest Physical Therapy in Farmington Hills is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our collaborative clinical team. As a PTA, you will deliver skilled interventions under a licensed PT, participate in patient education, honor evidence-based care, and engage in professional development

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Michigan PTA license.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Physical Therapists and other team members.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, skilled PTA interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, functional training, manual therapy, and related interventions within PTA scope.
• Monitor patient progress and report findings to supervising PT.
• Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and injury prevention.
• Reinforce Home Exercise Programs in collaboration with the supervising PT.
• Promote a positive, supportive patient experience to achieve functional goals.
