Job summary

Preftherapy is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Wilton, CT to work in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department. You will provide compassionate therapy and collaborate with a supportive rehab team to help residents reach their highest level of independence.

The ideal candidate holds a PTA license (or is license eligible in CT) and demonstrates strong computer skills, attention to detail, and flexibility with hours.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license or license eligible to practice in the state employed.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and experience with electronic documentation.
• Good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
• Works well with others in a team setting.
• Flexible with hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Work collaboratively with rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment.
• Demonstrate ability to maintain accurate documentation and electronic records.
• Support residents to achieve the highest level of independence.
