Job summary

City Scape Rehabilitation and Care Center in Denver, CO is seeking a caring Physical Therapist Assistant to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. You will perform treatments and exercises to help patients regain mobility and quality of life under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The ideal candidate holds a Colorado PTA license, has an associates degree or higher, and is comfortable in a busy, compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or better.
• Hold a current PTA license in the state of Colorado.
• 1 year experience in skilled nursing preferred (new graduates are welcome to apply)

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms.
• Coach patient and teach therapeutic massage to ease pain and promote healing
• Maintain patient records and track goals
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Assess progress and adjust treatments per regulatory and clinical requirements
• Communicate with the health team regarding patient progress and plans
• Provide discharge summaries per regulatory requirements
