Tender Touch Rehab Services in Waterbury, CT is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000. Compensation is $35.00–$42.00 per hour, with generous benefits and a supportive team.

You’ll provide therapy under the supervision of a licensed PT, help identify suitable patients, maintain documentation, and coordinate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes in SNF/long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice (CT).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date.
