Job summary

Neulife Rehabilitation in Mount Dora, FL is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering evidence-based care. You will help patients recover mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence through targeted exercises and education.

We require an accredited PTA program graduate with an active Florida PTA license and CPR/BLS. New grads are welcome and a sign-on bonus is offered to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Requires an accredited PTA program completion and Florida PTA licensure in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong interpersonal and patient-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PT interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and functional mobility activities.
• Utilize modalities like electrical stimulation, ultrasound, or heat/cold therapy per protocol.
• Document treatments and patient progress accurately in the EMR.
