Job summary

Ocean Beach Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on the Long Beach Peninsula. You will work alongside physical therapists to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence, delivering hands-on therapy and guiding exercises.

Required: graduate of PTA program, WA PTA license, BLS within 6 months. One year in a clinical setting preferred; Epic experience is a plus. Enjoy a scenic location and comprehensive benefits with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Licensure: Current Washington State PTA license.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (required within 6 months of hire).
• Experience: One year in a clinical healthcare setting preferred.
• Tech-Savvy: Epic experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivering hands-on therapy and guiding rehabilitation exercises.
• Supporting patients and families with education and encouragement.
• Assisting with infection control and patient safety practices.
• Collaborating with physical therapists on treatment plans and progress.
• Contributing to community outreach and wellness initiatives.
