Job summary

Theracare is seeking a motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver exemplary care and enthusiasm in working with the adult population in the Skilled Nursing Care setting. Busy Skilled Nursing Facility with Rehab to Home pathways, you will be part of a dedicated therapy team and have easy access to local Regional Management Staff for support.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an approved PTA program with current or eligible state license; new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current or eligible for state license.
• Prefer active membership with the American Physical Therapy Association (not required).
• Prefer minimum one year experience.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled direct patient care activities under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with rehab team to support patient goals.
• Contribute to patient progress notes and therapy planning.
