Job summary

Sterling Therapy Providers in Rahway, NJ is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to implement therapy programs under a Licensed Physical Therapist. The role requires graduation from an accredited PTA program and state licensure where required.

You will deliver treatments, assist with evaluations, and help residents achieve greater independence with compassionate care. Hourly rate ranges from $40 to $45.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
• Licensed as required by the State.

Responsibilities

• Implements resident’s individualized treatment plan under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Provides individualized PT treatments including modalities and exercises.
• Assists Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Organizes and facilitates treatment groups with the Physical Therapist.
• Instructs residents, families and caregivers in PT techniques under supervision.
• Collaborates with rehabilitation team to develop programs for residents.
• Maintains documentation for all residents treated.
• Attends care staffing meetings representing physical therapy.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and reports repairs.
• Delivers high-quality, compassionate service respecting residents' needs and rights.
