Job summary

Riverside Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support licensed physical therapists in delivering treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength and function. You will guide patients through exercises, monitor progress and document outcomes to ensure care quality.

Ideal candidates are patient-focused, with strong communication skills, basic life support certification, and the ability to assist with transfers and use of mobility aids.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from PTA program.
• Current Illinois PTA license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists by implementing exercises and interventions per plan.
• Monitor and document patient progress.
• Instruct patients in proper exercise techniques and use of mobility aids.
• Assist in transfers and ensure safety during sessions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and keep a clean therapy environment.
