Job summary

South College - Atlanta Campus is seeking an Adjunct Faculty Member for the Physical Therapy Assistant Program to lead and oversee lab activities. Daytime sections are available on a quarterly appointment basis, teaching courses and supervising students during labs.

The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree (or higher), have a GA-licensed PT or PTA, and bring experience in lab supervision and student assessment to ensure learning outcomes are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; PT-related degree with GA licensure.
• Licensed PTA or PT in Georgia is required.
• Experience supervising labs and assessing student performance.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and reinforce course-specific skills to achieve learning outcomes.
• Evaluate student performance in lab and theory per department standards.
• Communicate regularly with students and college officials.
• Assist with grading during practical skill check-offs.
• Gather and organize equipment and supplies for lab facilitation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the course instructor.
