Job summary

PruittHealth in Louisville, GA is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN SNF role. You will deliver PT treatments under supervision, assist with exercises, monitor progress, document outcomes, and educate patients and families. Requirements include an associate degree from PTA program and active PTA license in the state.

Qualifications

Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Rehabilitation or post-acute care experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
Complete accurate and timely documentation.
Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
