Job summary

PruittHealth seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support skilled nursing facility patients in Louisville on a PRN basis. You will assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities under supervision, while documenting progress and collaborating with the care team.

Competitive compensation up to $100,000 annually, based on experience and location, plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Rehabilitation or post-acute care experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate with supervising PT.
• Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
