Job summary

TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center is part of HCA Healthcare and is located in Springfield, Tennessee. A Physical Therapist Assistant PRN will work with the physical therapy team to restore function, mobility, and promote patient health following injuries or illness.

The role requires a Tennessee PTA license, graduation from an accredited PTA program, and current BLS certification. Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, and education for discharge planning.

Qualifications

• State of Tennessee Physical Therapist Assistant License required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and maintained per hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patient populations served in the department with appropriate knowledge and skills.
• Assess, plan, evaluate, and document care in coordination with the health care team across the continuum.
• Assess patients/families' ability to learn and incorporate teaching for hospitalization and discharge.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while upholding patient rights and dignity.
