Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at our Midtown Atlanta location. The role supports PT services, helps patients perform prescribed exercises, and contributes to achieving long-term rehabilitation goals.

Opportunities include a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a pay range of $30.00–$44.00 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Comprehensive benefits and PTO are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid state PTA license.
• BLS certification by start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of physical therapy services including transportation, therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the physical therapist (PT).
• Assist the PT in carrying out therapeutic interventions designed to meet the patients’ long-term goals, including strengthening, coordination and balance exercises; posture, endurance/cardiac, functional skills and community re-entry training; joint mobility and muscle lengthening and pain relief.
• Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics or assistive devices.
