Shores Post-Acute and Rehab in Port St Joe, FL is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program. Join a dedicated team focused on geriatric recovery and compassionate care.

We offer an in-house therapy team, supportive work environment, and CAPLICO values in daily practice. Eligible candidates should hold a PTA license and be ready to contribute to quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• PTA license is required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients with physical functioning disorders and develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitation interventions per plan and regulatory standards.
• Marshal patient handling with safe lifting, standing, and ambulation.
• Administer procedures including manual techniques, exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Generate discharge summaries complying with regulatory requirements.
