Job summary

Adoration Health in Wheeling, WV is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant for Home Health. The role emphasizes delivering 1:1 patient care, collaborating with a supervising PT, and contributing to a compassionate home health team environment.

The PTA will provide care in patients' homes, coordinate with therapists, and help maintain documentation while pursuing ongoing professional growth. External candidates may qualify for a $5k sign-on bonus; schedule is full-time.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one year's work experience as a PTA preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient's Plan of Treatment.
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient's plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns.
• Communicates patient's needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
