Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Upper Marlboro, MD. This full-time role delivers one-to-one home health PT services with flexibility and supportive team collaboration.

You will provide 1:1 care, work with a dedicated PT, and contribute to improving patient quality of life in the Prince George's County area. A valid PTA license and BLS are required, with 1 year of PTA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one year of PTA work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injuries.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s plan of treatment.
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient progress and questions.
• Communicates patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing adaptive equipment to improve function.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation per regulations.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health PTA, You will:

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function.Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
