Job Details

Location: The Grove Care & Wellness Center, Riverside, CA

Employment Type: PRN, Flexible schedule

Pay Range: $36.00/hr - $41.00/hr, based on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated PRN PTA to join our in-house therapy team at The Grove Care & Wellness Center. This skilled nursing facility provides long-term care, post-acute rehab, and geriatric outpatient services. Opportunities for training and continuing education are available in areas such as dysphagia, dementia, stroke, neuro rehabilitation, and respiratory/COVID recovery programs.

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive devices, under supervision.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists to assess and adjust treatments.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapy Assistant license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing setting preferred; new grads are welcome.
