Physical Therapist Assistant– Greater Huntsville, TX Area

PRN: Flexible Schedule, Be Appreciated by Your Employer

River Pointe of Trinity Healthcare and Rehabilitation located in the Greater Huntsville, TX area, is seeking a PRN PTA to join our awesome in-house therapy team! We are a post-acute care facility offering the amazing opportunity to practice with patients across the lifespan (pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics) in a setting consisting ofinpatient (short-term and long-term care) and outpatient.

Duties:

1. Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
2. Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
3. Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.
4. Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
5. Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

Qualifications:

1. Physical Therapy Assistant license is required.
2. Prior experience in a skilled nursing setting is preferred, but new grads are welcome!
